Benefits and Uses.
The benefits of having a prototype created is that it helps the viewer physically understand your concept and also in getting to know the product’s possible physical characteristics and limitations.
In addition, client will get a physical idea of aesthetics.
Client will always be presented with realistic expectation before getting the go ahead as some ideas may be more complicated to create.

Costs.
3D CAD creation and editing costs vary depending on the complexity of the project at hand. More complex designs will require more time.
For actual prototyping, we charge based on time required to print.
Our cost for 3D printing is $5.00 CAD per hour of print time.
3D Rapid Prototyping typically takes anywhere between 10 to 30 hours to complete, depending on size, design and density of object.
Post processing services such as sanding, priming and coloring of is complimentary for orders over $300.00 CAD.
NOTE: Due to the nature of prototyping, rush orders will have limitations and incur additional costs. It is best to allow up to a week of time for most project lengths.
Limitations.
Currently, our studio is able to prototype objects up to a size of 210 mm (X) x 210 mm (Y) x 230 mm (Z). XYZ = W x L x H.
For larger objects, the prototype will need to be sliced into parts and than recombined either via joint designs or direct chemical fusing.
